After tasting a wine, the Global Wine&Spirits Awards sommelier makes a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of the wine according to certain scoring criteria, and then gives a score. Digital scoring is only used to enhance and complement comprehensive tasting instructions, which is our primary means of communicating judgment.
